Played with a few of the droid tablets and not any compared to the iPad. Even first gen. With the exception of no camera on first iPad.

It takes about half the time to load, front and rear cameras. Shoots hd pic and vid. The retina screen is 10x clearer than any previous. The shape is more comfortable to me.

The iPhone 4 has a faster processor (the A4) and a bit better battery life in addition to what alpine said.

I guess it all depends on what you like to do with your phone. Of all that the extra battery life sounds nice but the rest is not worth the extra for me, I'll stick with the 3gs a while longer.

Couple friends have droids and they have all had numerous ones to replace the ones that f'ed up. not gonna be a droid user as of yet :)

My sister has had 2 refurbed x's come to her door that wont power up. I'm on my third x. Rooted this one with Liberty 2.0 and cleared cache frequently, still lucky if i can go a day without needing a reboot. I wonder if moto or Google programmers actually use the stuff

yeah i havent been impressed with them. Its hit or miss though. One is fine the next youll end up with 4 or 5 before you find one that works for longer than a month

The iPhone 4 also has double the RAM, a better GPU for gaming and video, the 3 axis gyro, and better noise supression to eliminate background noise more effectively. It also, even a year after launch still has the highest resolution of any cell phone on the market. The display really is awesome, even in bright direct sunlight, I can read everything just fine.

I had to do battery pulls on my WinMo phone every day. I will NEVER own another WinMo product, EVER. The only time I've had to reboot my iPhone, was when it rebooted automatically after the jailbreak completed.

If you don't really like the Droid series, look at the HTC phones. They have a good android overlay (Sense) and I have not a had a hardware related issue in the year that I've had my HTC Hero.

This is what my droid-nerd broinlaw is saying. He loves his tbolt. Although 4g is almost useless still in some areas. Good thing there are 3g/4g toggles

Apple got ahold of the DEV teams firmware, and built the software in the A5 chip that they introduced in the ipad 2 around it to keep it from being cracked.

That sucks. It will be cracked though, same as the AACS key for HD DVD and Blu Ray that was un-crackable.
