pede ecs ?

hey guys, i dont know if this is the right spot for the ?'s i hav but this site is new to me. i have a pede vlx 4x4, and it runs great. but the one prob i am having is after running it for about 5-10 min and then hit the brake it will give off a real small beep and stop running. unless i walk up and push it, the it will work fine. when it does this it wont go in either direction unless i push it. so that being said does anyone have any clue as to y this is happening and how i could fix it? any advice would help. thanks

Make sure the gear mesh isn't too tight. Unless you replaced the stock pinion with a taller(bigger) gear, this is most likely the culprit.

well i have tried everything i can think of, but the velneom 3500 brushless motor is still not working right. i did do some investagating and found that the motor does stop after it gets hot, but it is not getting so hot that i can't touch it. i asked around and some people have told me that the nimh 8.4 3000 mah bat that I'm using may not b strong enough to turn the motor over, or that the it may b that the motor is dirty. i have taken it apart and check it out but it looks very clean. and the gears are meshed right as well. all i can say is what ever is going on with it, it is in the motor and not in the esc, because i took the motor lose when it was doing it thinking is was bound up and it still did it. so if anyone has any other ideas on how to fix it, please fill me in cause I'm stumped.

what size pinion do you have on it i do know that it dont like to tall of pinions

The 3000mah bat won't deliver enough juice for the vxl to operate correctly. This may be the majority of your problem. My motor runs hotter on a 6 cell nimh than it does on a 2s lipo.
