What do you guys know and think of this mill? Will it fit any MT BB situation? And if any of you hae one, what did you pay or what do you consider a good price? I am looking at one for 150.00 NIB. (don't know if I am going to put it in a new rig or an old one yet)

I paid 180 for mine. It seems to hold up good, IT was hard to break it in since it had so much compression. I dont get to run my savage as much(it have the .28) IT seems like it is hard to tune. but has a unusable powerband. Not to much but is has a ton of TQ and it sounds good.

I've had the Wasp .28, which I think is the same engine with a differnent badge/colors. I really like the engine. It was a bit tricky to tune but not too bad. It had tons of torque and decent top end too. They have LOTs of compression, but start well once broken in. I have heard of people having problems with them overheating, but I never had any problems. $150 sounds about right, best I saw on ebay was $145.

I heard the same thing; the Wasp/Orion .28 is about the same as the Diablo. From the two responses given, though, it sounds like it is a PITA to tune.

What I found was, slight changes in outside conditions would require a tune. It was easy to find the sweet spot, just had to be done more often then other engines.

I had the Wasp in a Savage, then in a buggy, then a truggy haha. It was easily able to do wheelies in the savage. In the buggy I couldn't get all the power to the ground, and in the truggy it was awesome.
