RC Driving Style
Hey could some one explain to me what paypal is and how it works and how you get it. help apreciated thanx.
 
One thing about paypal if ya ever have to change anything on it, or have problems with it, its VERY slow to getting it straightened out. I had a paypal account, then changed banks so I had to call in and change everything over, and for soem reason they ran into some sort of problem transfering the funds, and weve been trying to get it straightened out now for like 3 months. Its crazy! But yeah, it works pretty slick other than that
 
I didn't have any problems when I moved and switched banks. It went fairly smooth. I also add and remove credit cards from my account all the time without problem.

BTW, when you get your new PP account setup let me know and I'll give you my e-mail addy and you can practice sending funds. :cheers:
 
PP is a wonderful thing.
Not that I need it but they just gave me a 5k line of credit to use.
There fee is a little steep I think its 1.5-2.5% to use it but its interest free for 90 days.

If you have a checking account and a credit card they make it real easy to use their service. Its become my preferred method of payment over the Internet. I have never had an issue with them.

I take PP on my website as well. Its amazing how many people use it. I also have people using their PP credit card at my store. If you look at it, its just like a bank. They are bound to the same rules and laws. Hell I even get interest on my positive balance each month.

Yes it will. I'm using a savings account for mine, but you just have to becareful on withdrawls from your bank account, mine only lets me make 2 withdrawls a month, so make your 2 wisely... (if you have 2 or w/e)

EDIT: Also, for those of you who have been using paypal for a while, is "<[email protected]>" a scam thing, cause normally it says "[email protected]" and the one I think was a scam said my account was suspended, and "click here to confirm" or w/e I almost did, but then I thought it was possibly a scam, so I logged in normally w/o the provided link, and all seemed fine....was I almost a scam victim?

yes you were almost scamed ....never click the link in a email ...always do it manualy
 
Yeah it's a scam, remember an e-mail from Paypal will address you by name like:
Bob Lipshitz, this is to....
It will not be:
Paypal user, your account....
When in doubt forward the e-mail to [email protected] and they will respond that it is junk or legit. If it's junk it may help them catch the little bastard.
 
hey i don't think i can sign up for paypal because i don't understand how to add my bank account. it says you need bank transit number, institution number. and account number but on my bank card i can't find them. it even shows where the numbers should be. HELP am i stupid?
