Where are some good places in Australia or online to Buy Cheap Spare Parts and/or upgrades for a REVO 3.3(Model 5309)

amainhobbies

order online, postage isnt much and takes around 5-7 days for express. parts there are around 1/2 the price of any local hobby shops in aus. i know cuz iv looked.

i just placed an order today $220 for my revo and my cousins on road touring car.

placing another order in the next 2-3 weeks for a picco .26 jlr motor and exhaust. another $250

For overnight stuff RCHobbies in NSW is good, prices are a lot better than local hobby shops & they carry pretty much everything you'll need. More expensive than EBay or ordering from the US, but not by a huge amount & you can get your stuff overnight for $10.5 freight.
Handy when you bust something & wanna get back out & play.

Got me a set of Proline badlands today for $88.50 to my door.

checked half of it on rchobbies and the stuff i check was double the price. the traxxas response wheel/tire (2) cost $99, i got 4 for $87 or so delivered last month from amain and it was express post.

Had a look at amain & ended up ordering $300 worth of bits LOL.

RPM everything, including true track rear.
Sway bars
Alloy single servo steering arm, HD spring & blanking plate for the hole from the other servo
Chassis brace
17t clutch bell
FOC
Driveshaft rebuild kits, dust boots, spare rod ends etc etc

lol,

i wanna get the trutrack rear but i already have RPM arms all round. can't figure out if i wanna get em....

what chassis brace did you get?

Just got the Traxxas brace, I was gonna make one, but for something like $12 why bother!

Yeah, if I had rpm arms already I'd have to debate the true track rear, but I've just got beat up stockers so it's a no brainer - we bash pretty hard, rear wheel alignment is always getting knocked out of whack & it's a PITA to set it up. True track is fit & forget, just camber adjustment to be done & that doesn't move much.
Had to straighten a front pushrod again this morning, bent 1 or the other 4 times now, looking forward to the alloy ones!

I got some alloy toe links for the front as well, going to be pulling a bunch of weight out of it & gearing it up for more top end.

whats the part number on the brace?

and yeh I'm knocking my alignment out all the time. but the thing i keep thinking is that its the give way point, with trutrack is it going to break or what else is going to move or brake in its place...

The brace is TRA5361

I'm hoping all the rpm stuff & the alloy pushrods etc will mean nothing breaks.........
Unless I hit something real hard, which I do tend to do LOL.
Next in line I would think would be the inner arm pins and/or their mounts, but I reckon it'd take a BIG hit to break that stuff.

mmm, doesn't yours already have that brace? my 5309 comes stock with that.

and yeh next for my is the picco motor when someone has em in stock.

already have the new era mount, BB exhaust adapter and glow plugs etc. just need the motor. also have a buku adjustable clutch, its pretty cool

Nah, mines an old 5310 - original 2.5 revo, no chassis brace at all.
