I have a question I'm not sure what style or model nitro i have...i was looking at ordering a few parts..but I'm not sure....i need tires, its street awd..

Could you post a picture so one of us could identify the car for you? That would make ordering parts a lot easier..

here is a picture....i've pulled the HPI off to have it sent in..Been thinking about putting the engine off the buggy on the purple chassie, but not sure if i want to, i just need to know the where to locate the parts for them, i was on tower hobbies but not sure which to order. I need tires for all three cars, and just some random screws and hex....along with replacement glow plugs..

Good call its a team associated. Had a O.S engine blown low compression. There's three bodys sitting in my closet but I figured they were just bought and it wasn't the car model.

The HPI is the RS4 Evo RTR, I have one (had two, my son got tired of it and sold it)...

They still sell it as the RS4 Evo+, which has the G 3.0 (.18) engine, different two speed gears, and a metal pipe versus the regular plastic one. They've made them for years so replacement and option parts are plenty easy to find. What do you need for it?

For the Evo I need tires, Engine (which has been sent to hpi), new battery cover, odds n ends screws since darn near each one is stripped. And a new body, nothing real major outside the engine swap. Wouldn't mind going to a better remote and receiver to.

I upgraded my RS4 Evo to a carbon deck and a hump pack, so I have the whole battery box with lid, 4 AA battery holder, etc. that's been sitting on the shelf for a couple of years. Yours for shipping, probably a couple of bucks I'd say.

As for tires I do have some Venom tires/rims that I bought and then changed my mind as too "blingy" for me. They're like a multi-straight spoke chrome. Already mounted/glued in the box(es). If interested let me know and we can discuss price.

What do you want for a body? I have the stock red Dodge Viper from my car I never use (I'm a Ford guy, all my lids are Ford products).

I'd really like to create a drifting car. I'm not really a Dodge guy my self. I would probably go with a Evo body or something, how much for the tires? I've been looking at new batt packs for it as well, so I'm not always buying new batteries....

These are the tires/wheels.

I paid $18.99 a pair about two years ago, so it was just over $40 with tax. How about $25 shipped? Let me know, no rush...

Also, if you get the five-cell hump pack it will fit in the battery box. You don't have to go to the carbon deck to fit the hump pack. So let me know if you want the battery box/lid parts. If you buy the tires I'll throw them in the box with them.

No Evo body here. All I have are Fords. I have a Ford GT, Saleen S7, vintage Mustang, etc. so the Viper is just sitting there not being used.

If you want a drifter HPI used to sell a drift conversion kit for the RS4. You might find one online somewhere. Of course they had an RS4 Drift car as well, so you could possibly just buy all of the replacement parts to do the same.

i heard drifting with nitro is possible, but the engines arent as flexible as electrics motors when feathering the throttle.
i just bought this electric tc4 for drifting, picked it up for 50 bucks with everything and i electrical taped the tires, its fun to mess around with, but i will be getting some more drift setup items soon

a buddy of mine has a nitro "drift", either that or he can't control it I'm not sure. The sad part of it all is, I live in the city where he would need more pavement, he lives in the country where I need more dirt. Until I get my engine back, I try and run my buggy in the yard, but don't always end up there, I'm going to the LHS to get some new tires, if there not expensive as i can just order them on line real cheap. as of right now, my buggy tires are slicks..
