Just bought a Picco 0.26 max for my Revo 5309. I have a Newera mount coming as well. Next on the list is a Dynamite 053 pipe and expansion chamber. What is the correct part #?

Also, other than forward only conversion, what other upgrades are recommended?

You might want to look into a center-diff and rear brake kit for better overall control.

It already has wide ratio gears. I'd go with a 17/36 bell and spur combo to handle the extra power.

I do concur with 17/36 B/S based on numerous post here and elsewhere. Short of tearing the tanny apart, how can I determine what gears I have? It is a stock 5309.

All 2.5 revos came with the standard ratio. All platinum edition revos have close ratio. The rest are all wide ratio....both versions of the 5309 and the 5308.

I'd get a set of the Traxxas or other brand CVD axles...

I just got my .26 Picco maxx yesterday, got the ofna mount and I should be installing it tonight or tomorrow. can't wait to get it running, What glow plug are you going to run on the picco? Do you think an LC3 hot plug is fine? I use blue thunder 30% nitro fuel...

I never needed the CVDs on my original Revo 3.3 while I was running the Picco.

The revo has very little driveshaft angle, no need for cvds.

I ordered the 17T/36T gears, 3 shoe clutch, red sport O'd plugs, and motor saver AF. Almost bought the CVDs, but decided to wait unitl we have breakage. I read today LC3s work fine, but Tower had a good deal on the red tops. Others to consider are MC8, MC59, MC9, OS A5, OS8. In the 3.3 I run 20% O'd RTR at the moment. Before that 20% BlueThunder. Don't plan on changing.

I run O'donnell #100 or #99 in my picco 26.

Any idea what part# for the smaller header gasket to use with the BB gasket supplied with DYNP5002? I was think I could by this kit and make it work.
