I heard that she's now requesting a pardon from the terminator as 45 days in jail is "cruel and unusual punishment." If it were up to me, I'd make her live like a regular person with a 9-5 job, having to drink tap water and not allowed to spend more than $30 dollars a day on entertainment, food and transportation.

I think they should treat her as anyone else. I think shes getting a bad wrap just cuz shes famous. They should slap her wrist like they do every other 1st time Drunk driver (its a shame, but true). Id say the same if it was any breaking of the law. As much as I HATE drunk drivers, I still think she should be trialed like everyone else.

Just to clarify, she got her wrist slap when they took away her license for the DUI. The 45 days is for a probation violation, she was driving on a supended.

The irony is if she had half a brain and turned her headlights on while driving at night, she wouldn't be getting all this extra press.

still.. 45 days for driving after revication?? My buddy got a $300 fine. And that was after his 2nd dui in 3 months. (Hes a alchoholic and now has been sober for a year and 3 months)

I agree BIGTIME.. He got off WAYYY to easy. 3 dui's in 3 years and all he served was 15 days in jail, his 1st fine was $800, his 2nd was $850 and his 3rd was $1000. He also did get 15 days house arrest and had to do 6 months of AA, and also 3 years of probation for each one, but big woop. Besides drinking and driving he never broke the law, so the probation isnt really a big deal. And apparently it wasn't real strict since he didnt get more jail time for the 2 dui's afterwards. The judge said on the last DUI that if he got anotherone within 10 years, he would reccomend 4 years in a state penetentury (sp?).. Thats what scared him enough to make him sober up. Pretty sad it took him 3 dui's to actually get threatened but I guess thats what will happen when all he gets is slapped on the wrist. The judicial system sucks and is all about $$. I can't even imagine his car insurance..He also got a suspended licence for 60 days after his 3rd one..
