Hey guys,

Has anyone had a problem with parcel post on USPS? I sold some stuff weeks ago and haven't heard anything from them yet. Is it just me, or does Parcel Post take a long time to get to the destination? Next time I won't be a cheapo and go with the cheapest, I'm gonna ship UPS or FedEx, or at least Priority.

This is actually my first time using parcel post, and dang it's slow. I've ordered using Parcel, and it got here in 3 weeks, which is like 2 weeks after USPS said it would averagely get here. I've even heard of people getting their packages 9 months after it being shipped.

yea man i hate usps

I've had slow stuff too and bmiller is going threw this right now

I have never really had problems with usps but I use either first class or priority.

Keep in mind that when your the seller/shipper you should always buy delivery confirmation and either buy insurance or on something cheap be prepared to give a refund. If you accept paypal and a buyer files a claim on the item you are responsible for the package even if the buyer refuses to pay for it you are responsible for confirmation and insurance.

I always have a confirmation number but if the buyer doesn't pay for it I won't share it =devil

waitin on a package that was shipped last monday from utah with priority and nothing....tracking has still not even been updated

I shipped my truck that I sold on here parcel post and it took about 10 or 11 days and the delivery conformation didn't change till the day it got to the city it was shipped to, so yeah it's hella slow...

everyone check out this bullshi**. this is my tracking number with usps 9121 1501 3471 1498 2468 10

tracking has still not even been updated

First mistake - USPS does not offer tracking, it's call delivery confirmation and is only useful for what the name says it is... Delivery Confirmation. Nothing more nothing less. :\ Also just as marauder pointed out, this is their busiest time of year you can expect much longer delivery times right now.

I've shipped a number of things via USPS priority with DC and have never had any issues, however I only use USPS to send cheap items. Anything of importance or value gets shipped UPS or FedEx.

Your item was misrouted. The error has been corrected and every effort is being made to deliver it as soon as possible. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

Don't forget to thank them if it gets there.

It now says it's been delivered.

Woodie, it's called Track & Confirm. They do collect tracking data, they're just really slow in updating it. They've gotten betten better, in the last couple of years. They now update the tracking before it's delivered.

I'll still take USPS over DHL, any day of the week.

Yeah, its always slow going the cheapest route. Took a good 2 weeks to get my Hyper to SD in Calli from Pa. And this is just a BAD time of the year.
