Hey guys, I just finished my Chevy Silverado body for my mini-T but I don't know what to spray over it all to protect the paint. I used Faskolor

Usually just a good backing coat should be fine. Since it's an electric, you don't have to worry about the nitro sludge. But if you want a protective coat, I'd get some Fascoat. It's clear and water based just like the rest of the paint. Throw a couple thin coats over everything when you're done.

I've noticed that the Parma Fastcolor, even after it's well cured, will scrape off with a fingernail. For a good hard final covering I've found that a light coat of Pactra window tint spray puts on a hard shell that adds a super protecting coat to the softer paint.

best paint protector that I've found is Krylon , spray it on 24+ hours after you're done painting your body let it set up another day, then you should have a nice "skin" between your car innards and your paint.
Lates!!

Just remember to keep your window masks on until your final protectant coat is done... The faskoat will even make your windows hazy...

I use Faskolor paints, but make the last color the Pactra sealer as well. Saves a little weight that way maybe.

Thats not a good idea nitro sludge and cleaner will make the krylon paint disolve.
