Because the guy I painted for did not give them to me with the body.
Boogieman, I am using an Iwata Eclpse HP-CS gravity feed brush. Before this I was using a Pasche VL, night and day difference. I would highly recommend an Iwata brush to anyone.

Looking good Joe, i really like that tru flame job on the Jeep! Keep up the good work! And I think pretty soon I want to have you paint up a Pro-Line Bug body for my Slash 4x4, me and my dad both have been looking at your work and we both want some air brush action on our 4x4's as his showed up today.

So what's somethin like what your using cost? My lttle one was 115 and it came with a compressor I know its crappy brush but its a nice little diaphram compressor

Do u paint for a living? how did you get that good at painting? do you have somekind of background like college painting, on the job painting or was this just a hobby that you enjoyed and became good at? sorry for all the questions but i think those are insanly good.

Thanks toolmaker. Just a hobby, although I do paint occassionally for hire. I painted my first body about ten years ago with rattle cans, well I knew I wanted them to look better so I got a cheap brush, I outgrew that quickly then got a better brush, and now use an Iwata HP-CS, awesome brush! I just really enjoy painting them, painting and wrenching are two of my favorite parts of this hobby.
boogie, if I remember correctly my brush was around $125, but I got it a couple years ago so I could be off by a couple bucks. A good brush makes a huge difference!
