OWB cause noticible drag?

I just switched from rotostart to bumpstart and was wondering if not having the owb on will make a noticible difference in any way. Thanks again guys!!

Take it out, less stuff inside the crankcase is always good.

Yeah it's out. Had no choice after I put in the new backplate. It's slotted also, so I didn't have to grind off the pullstart nub on the crank.

Actually on engines this small,you should gain a slight bit of power. But you have to have a good feel for what you had to notice the improvement.

I'll b running it this weekend, resealed it with the new backplate on. See what the difference is on it. The motor sits better now w/o the rotostart plate on it , which makes it better on the bumpstart also.
