RC Driving Style
hello, i've been lurking for a long time but i've only posted a few times. i would like to put larger diameter tires on my rc10, are there any available that would fit on the stock wheels? what about on other wheels? i know that it would change the final gearing but i can always change the spur/bell ratios to make up for it. i really need more ground clearance. i live in florida and i have lots of grass that makes it difficult, and i dont want to go out and buy a monster gt or other monster truck. any suspension mods that would help? thanks

Hey Guys this is my first time here. I finally found a place where people know what there talking about. Well, I just got the Menace truck. I haven't drove it yet because where I live; the last 3 weeks it has been snowing and the streets are all ice, so I'm not even taking the chance to drive it. But I read some comments about the shocks, that there not so good. I guess my question is What shocks do you suggest to get for a truck like this? Also I would like to know if I could change the front and back bumper to aluminum. I don't care if it weighs down the car. The car is fast enough. And what other parts can I get In aluminum, I would like to change every part they can be changed to aluminum. Thanks :help:

I belive the stadium truck wheels are 2.2 You can go to Tower hobbies I did a search for you click that link to check out tires. They should all fit the stock rims.

But remember tthey are glued to the rim so you might just want to buy new rims to go with them. that way you will have two sets.

I went out and bought some pro line mashers. It's didn't work out so well. since the top speed and accel is so good on my stadium truck it just ballooned out the tires spinning. They were out of balance, gave a rough ride, and finnally seperted from the rims. The ones I got had NO traction on the pavement and really made no differnce off road.

If you do get taller tires I would suggest you also get some for the front, or it will just dig the nose in.

Don't let my bad experience sjy you away. Buy yourself a set of nice taall tires and see how they work. Iff they work well, post here and let me know ;)
