Over Kill?

I am really rebuilding my savage this winter and I have that cam style servo saver on order from tower. Now I had some jr servo in my savage for steering I think is had about 120oz/in of torque So I took my hs645MG out of my buggy then took my jr servo and added it to my gas/ brake. Do you think this is over kill? I am going to buy new servos for my buggy I am going to get two hs645s
Becasue my brakes suck so bad.

Also my radio has EPA and I know how to use it lol

What do you mean by overkill?
I have cam type servo =945 mg and personal servo saver mod625mg.

EPA is end point adjustments.
Set the servos so that there not straining at the ends of the throw.
Look at the wheels. Increase or back off the end points till they hit as far as they will go without buzzing.

As for overkill,
I have JR digital servos (8800) on everything.
200 0z of torque.

I run a futaba S3305 on both the throttle/brake and steering. I've chewed up a lot of standard servo's on my throttle/brake, so I figured using something with more torque and metal gears may help things last long. I burned up 3 standard servo's in 2 gallons on my throttle/brake. Since I installed the S3305, I've burned up 4 gallons of nitro and the servo is still in good shape.

if you think that 120oz. high-torque servo is to much for the throttle/brake i have futaba s9450 that is 111oz. high-speed at 6volts . i need a high-torque servo for my steering. I'm using one of these s9450 high-speeds for my steering which isn't high-torque. I'm also using one for throttle and brake. btw it's a digital metal gear servo as well. i can push the car 5 feet and make four turns. i may be willing to trade for a high torque servo.

Do the brakes suck on the Savage or the buggy?
If they suck on the Savage, have you put the dual brake kit on it? Mine had almost no brakes stock. Now I can flip it on its top just by hitting the brake too hard on a high speed pass. Stock servo. Got the parts for the linkage mod but haven't really needed them, yet. Brake set comes with a metal hub, too. My stock plastic one stripped pretty quick.

I run the stock brake setup with the OFNA linkage. I had the dual brakes when I bought it off skymaxx, but the hex's of the disks got worn and caused a lot of binding. With the higher torque servo, my savage will endo with the stock brakes.

I also had the duel disk brake untill I lost the hub, Olds Do you still have the metal hub? If so I would have to problem buying it off of you.

The real problem is with my buggy, There are no brakes in that thing. If I go WOt and top out, It would take me about 10seconds to stop, I dont know who designed the brakes on my ofna buggy but they really messed up there.

My hub got horrible notches in it as well from the dogbone. I went to HPI's website and looked for just the hub and couldn't find it at the time. They didn't have it listed separately, so I emailed them and they sent me a new one free of charge... I just don't remember where I put it.
