We have been planning our track for a while now and we are finally going to do it. I can't wait until we get it finished and get to running on it. It is a pretty simple design. It has a couple spots on it for some big air. :D Here's a picture of the area where we are building our track, and the track design.

We have to build our own track because there are no tracks here. We had a huge track in Avon Park but they closed it before we moved back from New York.

I was bummed when we moved back and I found out the huge Avon Park track had closed. I was really looking forward to running there. So we decided, we have the space, and since there is no place else to run around here, may as well just build our own track. I have access to all the tools I need, John Deere tractor with a bush hog and box blade, work horse cart, and plenty of tools. I have been watching Craigs List and even posted a wanted add to try and get some 4" corrugated drain pipe on the cheap. Gonna need 400 - 500 feet, and that can get pretty expensive. Started pricing clay too, that loose sand aint gonna cut it. Anyway, we'll update this as we get some more work done.

Sweet guys!!! That is a sweet looking layout for sure! I used to have a local track too... and when it closed is when I decided I was going to put one in my back yard too. I can't wait to see how it all turns out!

Thanks man, I have never ran on a track before, and just seeing and talking about tracks is just making me so excited about building it. Btw, your track has an awesome layout, just looking at the pics makes me so anxious to run on ours. I hope ours comes out as nice as yours. :)

Sweet! Must be something in the water this summer. :)

Yea, without a doubt. I really like checking out the tracks people are making. I think that your track will be really cool when it's finished, it's a good design. :)

As I was drawing some track design's just for fun, I made one that we are now going to use, instead of the other design we had originally come up with. We like this design will be much better.

Nice layout. It has a great blend of speed and technical sections. You will have slot of fun with that when it is done for sure!

Looks like my bowels with ulcers from Taco Time food :D

That looks like its going to be fun to build and run!
