Anyone got any information on these mills? I have seen a couple lower end web-sites selling em rather cheap, and from what I have heard they are giving Novarossi mills a run for thier money.

All the ones i have seen are kinda bland, mostly matte black finish, but the good stuff is on the inside they say. I hear they run really low temps and are a generally good alternative to a Nova.

Amyone know anything more?

i think he means OPS... there supposed to be very good motors but the only place that i know of to get them stopped selling them (nternationalnitro)

Really? I thought I read on the Grid a while back that they are decent? Maybe not, since they have dropped from sight.

Yes, I believe you mean OPS, unless its a knock off.

Thought it was on the Grid that one guy went as far to remove the engine and throw it in the trash can at the track? Maybe it was somewhere else. Aren't they affiliated with GO?

I may have got the letter mixed up, but yep, you guys are all thinking the right mill.

On the contrary tho, everything i have heard lines them up in the same category with Novas and such. They are made by an offshoot fo the same company and they have quite a large following-despite the lack of people using them at the track and such.

As for the one company, yes, they stopped selling them... I wonder why? I have heard stories of guys having troubles with them, but I have also heard the same thing about Picco and other mills... weird.

I do believe I may have been mixed up now after going back and doing some reading. They are affiliated with Radical which may be one of my next mills. A friend is sponsored by Radical and I've been pretty impressed with the 621's.

I've read about the radical engines in Xtreme RC mag. They seem to like them. Looking at the dyno charts, the numbers were good, but power delivery wasn't very smooth. There's a peak in the low RPM's, a valley, then another peak at high RPM's.

Does he have the "torque" ot the "speed"? It seems the T is the way to go,.

Yes, they are really geared for torque, from What I have heard. I also looked at the dyno charts in a recent RC mag and was rather impressed.

And also, just for a little information- It WAS in fact a marine engine I was looking for! I have been planing on building a boat and I did some looking for high tourqe mills and found the OPS sites.
