Finished running in my OS. My carb ended up being set at 3 turns out on the HSN and 1.5 at the LSN. Pullof is excellent as all 4 Proline Dirtworks spin dirt away for 5 meters. The truck smokes nicely from pullof all the way to the top. Top speed is not so fast but fast enough for me. I dont want to lean out the HSN for fear of no lube at top throttle bursts. But I can aproach a jump mid throttle and give it gas so that the rear lands first off the jump. Oh and I can start the engine when its hot. Lovely piece of machinery. I checked the temp and it sits at 95-100c, spit sits on the head for about 8 seconds then evaporates. It might be too cold but I would rather be safe than sorry. can't wait to test the T-Maxx I might be getting and The Savage. T-Maxx has a allu deck with Proline suspension arms. The whole truck I can get for Half the selling price here. Read my Post in the T-Maxx forum.

Cool, another happy OS customer. I love mine, holds a tune exceptionally well. However if your spit test is correct and it takes 8 secs to evaporate then you are definately too rich. I highly recommend, if you dont have one, and if your spitting on your mill then you probably don't, is a temp guage, this imo is a must have tool. Radio Shack often runs theirs on sale for $29, and it uses a Raytek p/c board. OS actually states tune for performance not temp, but I like to do both.

OS engines are real dependable, easy to repair and find parts for and they run pretty good for a relatively inexspensive engine. The carbs are great. Your bottom end needle sounds pretty close. It could be a bit lean depending on your take-off from a dead stop. The top end setting of 3 turns may be a little on the rich side. I beleive my OS engines are about 2 1/2 for HSN and 2 for LSN. This will vary depending on many weather and altitude factors. Better a bit rich than too lean. Lean can fly but eat up an engine.
