i have as os 30vg in my t maxx and I'm having some problems tuning it. i had asn os 18tm in it before and i was able to get it tuned great, but i can't seem to get it tuned right! it slightly boggs at take off and it wont stay idling for longer than 30 seconds. its not to rich cause theres not allot of blue smoke coming out but there is smoke. any thing would be helpfull at this moment! thanks!

As a rule of thumb, if it revs a little before it dies, then richen her up, if she dies slowly, then lean her out. If it doesn't seem to do either then give her a rev, if it tapers off then lean it out.
As I said general rule of thumb, taking into account tuning being the problem this will help.

its close to lean as it is the plug wire is more white than grey! and there is no quick rev before it dies!

I was having the same problem, when I would try to take off my Mega Baja would bag down and cut off. My problem was the LSN was set to rich. I leaned it out a little and it does great now. It sounds like you may have the oppisite problem though. Try what Brushlessboy said and if it does not work then you can go the other way. I would never suggest running lean, it may cause damage to your engine.

Not sure if you have heard of the pinch test, pinch the fuel line and if it stays running more than 3 secs, then adjust, or I have also turn up the idle and it seems to help with idling
