Oppinions wanted on Ofna Jammin X1 CR Factory team edition

what are your opinions on this buggy for racing? Whats a good motor to use in it that is race legal and has the good low to mid power needed for am oderately tight track.

I love my Jammin buggy. Handles the rough really well. Can be very competitive.
Be sure to get the new X1X-CR. Has better upgrades, big bores, stronger diffs.
And any .21 size engine should be legal. Some of the most popular engines are the V-Specs, RB C6, Novarossi and some others. check out Amain.
BTW I even heard that the turbo plug 7 port Go-Tech can hang with V-Specs and are almost half the price.

on tight tracks I have done really well against most high end mills running an O.S. RG and over gear it to a 14 or 15t CB......you won't have the top end scream the others do but I can pull or at hang with most high end mills on the infields for sure...cheap mill easy to tune.....you can polish the fuel intake with a dremel and they really wake up the power band......

Plaidfish, are you talking about polishing the inside of the fuel intake? Do you have a link on how to do this?

on the crank inside the case...as it turns one side slings the fuel from the carb to the piston....one of the major differences in high end mills is they polish this area and it keeps the fuel from "pooling" after hitting burrs or rough surfaces.....I just get polishing compound and a polishing ball dremel bit and take my time making it shine like a mirror...don't get too carried away or you can throw the crank's balance off.....

Is this what your talking about sort of. Not the actualy grinding away of the metal to cause the grove but the pollishing difference between the two. what your saying really makes sense.

that's another type of mod...they call that a turbo cut....I'm talking about that hole on the shaft itself....JUST POLISH NO GRINDING....

that mod you see was probably the end result of 50 or so cranks being ground out until they found a pattern that worked.......if you look at the metal and see the mirror finish the modded one has, that's how you want the inside of the crank's fuel intake to look.....

gotya. so insdie here is what you mean. Yeah I got thesep ics off a site of a guy that has modded motors for years, I wouldnt begin to attempt anything like that, but a little pollishing I could handle. I have played around with compressionless motors some with a dremel for fun.

I have had the jammim factory team and it rocks..you need to add a hole in the rear shock tower and your set...I was running a ws7 rb mill and man that bugy was stable as all get out...the harder you drove it the better it handled...just takes a little set up....
