looking to get into 1/8th buggies. won't be doing any serious racing, just messing around and some practice laps at the local track. I want something durable with pretty good handling. between the parts and cars they carry, the two local lhs are suggesting XTM, OFNA MBX 9.5, Swift, HB lightning.

what do you guys think are pros and cons of these buggies

TIA

For Bashing, I've heard great things about the OFNA Violator 9.5...
I own a Hyper 7 Pro, & I'm very happy with the way its built... Very Beefy....

ok i have an hyp7 pcr. the ofna mbx they say is an 1/8 scale but is more like an 1/10. look at the specs. on it its like 7.7 inches wide and only 14.4 long.as for the others i can't say.but like iam broken said the 9.5 v is a good ride. my buddy has one granted it has broke a few times but nothing a few bucks didn't solve.or getto style fixes

For cost VS performance, most of the Ofna buggies and the GS Storms will suit just fine for bashing. Most of them are very durable and stock parts are cheap and mostly easy to find.

Good Luck!!

if you want a buggy that will be competative at the track as well.. the Hot Bodies is great.. good price.. and alot of kyosho hopups will work on that car
