In a recent Nitro fuel thread new member cptvkirk who is stationed in Kirkuk is trying to find nitro fuel for him and his buddies so they can enjoy some desert RC action in their down time. Companies won't ship fuel to APO addresses. There are possibly other members stationed elsewhere in Iraq and Afghanistan facing the same problem. Please let me know!
After a little digging, and with some info from cptvkirk and elsewhere, it appears that private individuals can ship nitro fuel direct! It just takes some paperwork. I've listed the requirements for cptvkirk's APO zip below. Please double check that I'm interpreting the requirements correctly.
So, I'm going to try shipping a quart of 20% direct to cptvkirk and, if successful, will provide anyone interested with the needed details & papers. I'd also be willing to take donations via paypal to purchase & ship more their way. Receipts of donations & purchased/shipped fuel will be provided to anyone who does choose to donate.
