Looks good so far. You might try running the rock lights off the same circuit as the running lights? LEDs don’t take much, unless you want them to operate on their own.

Yea. That's likely what I'll do. Just have to take the time to solder the rock lights into the running lights. I figure that way cuts down on the amount of plugs.

Even easier, I may look into a splitter to include. Of course this thing is built like an old German car, all black wires...lol

FMS makes great looking scale rigs. It's really hard to get performance out of a scale rig.
That's true. I've actually been quite surprised with how well this one performs. The 2 speed is what makes it fun for me. I can walk with this one and the speed is there or I can do some crawling, it's been loads of fun and I just love the look of it 😍

Well I commandeered these Injora wheels intended for my daughter's Redcat Ascent18. She was able to crawl over steeper inclines, where I was having issues. These wheels are heavy so I had a hunch they might help performance and I was right! 😁
So I'll try to install the grey wheels I had on this before to her Redcat if I can.

Why you sneaky little sneak! They do look good on there. I have been trying to avoid buying an FMS Land Rover until I do some upgrades to some of my exsisting trucks. But when ever I see yours I start getting an itchy order finger. 🤣

Haha! I noticed on marketplace someone is selling a Land Rover one, the fair RC weathered looking one. I've almost bought it near Xmas, dude still hasn't sold it. He needs to drop the price.

These rims and tires fit perfectly!!

They are definitely my favorite wheel/tire now. It gave it a little wider stance, but the performance is even better and I loved it before! Haha

I know you mentioned somewhere that all of your wiring was black with no marking of the signal. I notice in this picture the plug with only 2 wires has a marking on the negative. If you use that as a reference, you should be able to figure out the other stuff. Positive is always in the middle.

Freakin' brilliant! I genuinely did not see that. I need a magnifying glass for some of these tiny markings 😆.
I completely gave up on the project, but maybe now I'll figure out some of this wiring.

I saw some wiring just like that on one of mine, it made me think!
Can you by chance tell me what the spacing is on the transmission mounting holes? Could it be roughly 20mmx10mm?

Yea. 20x10mm looks to be it
