I am having trouble with my tmaxx 2.5.
It runs good but will die immediately at high rpms, adjustments to the carb don't help. I took the engine out and can turn it both directions. I took my EZ start apart cleaned and put back together, now here's the problem, if I don't put the screws back in and just slide it onto the crankshaft it won't turn backwards. When I tighten everything as is it goes right back to turning both directions. When I take the one way bearing out and slide just that onto the crankshaft I cannot, no matter how hard I try. turn it backwards?!?
Is my starter motor weak? Could this have anything to do with my stalling problem?? Help please oh gurus of RCNT!!!!!

i dont know about the ez start, but thats what a one way bearing is supposed to do, it only turns one way

I recomend tossing the electric start and going pullstart.less weight and less hassle.just my 2 cents.

yeah i like the ez start cause its ez but if it ever craps out I'm just gunna switch to pull start probably
