Boredom over last winter and spring. I designed an 8th scale nitro pro street drag car using stuff I had to get a visual. I wanted to run old 8th scale buggy stuff but wheel options were slim especially in 19mm 17mm. The rears are mega force 2.6 19mm were warped From heat, curbed hard and inside bead busted cracked on both. I narrowed them a tad to do away with the cracked and rashed lips. The front are duratrax n demon 2.6 19mm. Unfortunately the project was sidelined like all of them are usually due to no budget but I'm patient.

A little bit of effort goes a long way sometimes. We have become a disposable society, where it's easier to buy new, but sometimes it's worth the satisfaction you get to restore something that would otherwise be discarded. :thumbs-up:

Awe

Awesome.. Thats what this hobby is truly about.. I see all the RTR cars and they are nice for playing with but where did all the kits go? I love the building part.. thats the fun to me , well it is to me anyway...
I can make you a kit to build one of 3 choices.

Duratrax Axis, Nitro Quake, And i think i have enough for a Thunder Quake. Just like it was offered in kit form all new or just a few very nice like new parts.

been wanting to do that for myself for over 20 yrs lol

Was more stating that the average rc'r buys one already built and truth be told i feel that actually building them is something I enjoy more but its hard to find too many different kits that can built instead of bought...... just sayin
