Or more specifically MCNorris.
He said he was looking to get a look like a Warthog from the video game Halo. There's no doubt the new ProLine Helios is almost a perfect match. So, time to give him a battle worn Warthog:

Even added some Covenant plasma rifle damage:

One of the bastards even got the windshield:

sweet

That looks great love the little extra details is the bullet hole in the window really cracked and how did you do that

Thanks guys. That one was really fun. Like I told MC before, it's a hell of a lot harder to make a car look beat up than to make it look shiny and new. It's a real challenge, but it gives me a chance to get creative. You'd laugh if I described how I did some of the effects!

WOW!

Great job!

simply amazing... candyman you never stop getting better.. very very good job man!

Toothbrush? Wow, that's a great idea! And here I was taking the better part of 6 days using a Triple-0 paintbrush and a dental pick to get that effect!
Just kidding. It was a toothbrush. The rest was fun. The blast holes were easy. Just used my wire brush on my Dremel. That cuts a nice, irregular hole right through the plastic. For the scorching, I just cut a teardrop stencil out of a thin piece of cardboard. Held it about 1/2 inch away from the body and just lightly misted the black. That gives a nice pattern with faded edges. Then a quick brush of a mix of brown and copper to give sort of a corroded exposed metal and there you go. The window was done just by gouging a hole in the window with a tapered reamer on my Dremel then just scratching out cracks with the edge of a mini screwdriver.

Jumpin Jesus on a pogo stick, that is *sick*!

I'm sorry but it can't be legal to be that good.

That is just rediculously cool Jeff. Waaay beyond my comprehension of lexan painting. Absolutely brilliant.:thumbup:
