RC Driving Style
there is a construction site by my house and there are these bumps that are about half a foot high, i was going through them at full speed and it was so cool. i notice that I'm burning out a lot so i look and i lost my front drive shaft and when i get home i dont have any more. thats the first thing that went bad. then I'm outside my house and notice i can do doughnuts cause its only back wheels drive:p: that was cool. then i accidentally slam into a curb and it looks like nothing happened cause i just drive away. when i take a closer look at it I've broke a lot of stuff in the front of my car. i try to unscrew one thing and the whole front end falls loose and is only attached by the steering rod thing! i was so mad. i guess a screw snapped or something. ill try to get pictures tomorrow. man i was mad.and then to top it all off I'm out of money.( I'm only 13)

Sucks to be you....but I understand. I was the same way...except worse.

I think I was about 15 when I started R/C's Never worked on my own...my friend worked on it. Then I stopped asking him. So I never got the car fixed. Car sat, and sat, then finally just installed it myself.

Seeing that I didn't have a license, I had to bum rides to the LHS. And when my friend drove, he drove his $300 car, so it took awhile to get there.

And then I had an OFNA Ob4, no parts available in my area, so whenever things broke, I had to mailorder. And get my parents to order it...my mom hated ordering it. I also bought more than I needed and spent mass more money than needed.

Oh yeah, and i've always had issues with saving so I'd always be broke.

So basically my early days of r/c were pretty bad

just put some pics of my savage in my gallery. and i took the front end apart to see what i needed and all i need are like 3 screws and a plastic peice. so shouldnt be that expensive.
