on-road roar legal engine recomondations

what do you guys recommend to a newcomer to this class of racing? I have been considering the os .12tr or the wasp .12 roar engine.

RB Concept Rody Mod V12...but seriously, just get something like an o.s. 12 cv-r. If you're starting out, more power means it's gonna be harder to learn to race.

I was thinking the same thing. A guy at a lhs store suggested the same engine you just said, then he asked me if I was a beginner, then he said go with the os or the wasp. I'm thinking os. From what I have read about the wasp .12, it was been touchy to tune. I think the os it is.
