Hello. I havent been to this site in a LONNNNGGGGG time. mostley becase i gave up on my t-maxx. it has been sitting in a box in my closet for at least 10 months unused. i dident use it because i had no engine or pipe. i had a pro .15 and sold it to somone after i found out it didnt have any power (buying it used and had 2 gllons through it already).... anyways. i was planning on buying a sirio 18 when i had the money but spent it on somthing else. So now here it is 10 months later, spring just coming and the snopw just melted with a brand new never used rollcage. chassis and shocks. the only problem is i have no engine. so i was looking on towers site and found a 2.5R revo engine and the .15 to 2.5 conversion kit... I'm pretty sure this will work fine and give a little more boost than my old .15 engine. i only have $300 CAD and i need 12 AA rechargeables to go along with this. the engine, conversion kit and batteries will be exactly $301. I'm just wonderig if anyone has a better idea on what to do engine wise. or if there is a better engine for less than $125 USD with slide or rotary carb...

Thanks.

If you are going to get a new mill, why don't get a .18?

The sirio .18 is discontinued, so the next mill you might want to consider is O.S .18 TM with T-maxx manifold. Here is the link

I'm with Jeep. I would first suggest the .18TM. Should be an easy drop-in and will give you tons more power than that old TRX .15

I have the old maxx also when I get the money I'm going to upgrade to the 0.S .18 I have heard alot of good things about them.

The os that you have there jesse, is for the older maxx with the rotary carb and short shaft.

I guess so! If it is the older t-maxx with the pro .15, then it is a direct bolt on. Good luck man!

well i just put in a new 2.5R in my maxx and it makes a big difference from the old 2.5 and i dont know how much you want to spend on a motor but i can get a brand new in the box 2.5R for 105.00 from my local hobby shop and if you want the information let me know you can order it from there ????????????

Does it come with a pull start?

INCLUDES: One O.S. Max .18CV-RX(S) engine with, 11J carb, pull starter,#8 glow plug, air filter assembly with two elements, mounting spacers, four 3 x 14mm phillips head screws, instruction manual

I think you got confused with my question... I was asking SuperMaxx83 if his 2.5r came with a pull start, because i want to put one on my brother's nitro rustler.
