RC Driving Style
i beleive it or not have an old traxxas slash i got from a friend of mine and it apparently goes faster backwards the remote is a 27MHZ controller and i wanted ot know why it goes backward faster than it does going foward any help would be great ill post pics up in a little while when i take them. the motor is a titan 380 and a XL2.5 esc.

i was also wondering there is a little resister thing on each terminal going to the motor i took pics but not great quallity would this be a problem since technically they are touching one another

Could the throttle channel be reversed on the remote? If its set on 70/30 and reversed, couldnt that cause it to?
 
yep the capacitors are for noise suppression on brushed motors used for a.m. radios.
if you get a 2.4 radio these won't be needed.
prrogram the esc when the switch on Tx is on 50/50.
