i think posting here is the correct place for it, i have an old RS4, i don't really know anything about it and haven't even looked at it in about 2 years, pulled it out of my closet and noticed a screwed up the exhaust header, it has an OS motor with a small grove of an exhaust port. on the right side, where can i get a new one? my friend has a nitro car with a "Stinger" exhaust that comes out the back, is that possible to get for mine?

this pic might help someone see what i have...

Wow, it's been a while since I've seen one. I owned one a long time ago. Hmmm.... I'm a bit too lazy to do a lot of looking right now, but you might be able to find an original header on Ebay or something. But considering the configuration, I'm thinking a header from an RC10GT would work. I believe the engines are both laid out across the chassis with the pipe heading forward like that.

despite what towerhobbies says on their site, this is what you're looking for...good luck

thanks a lot guys!

so, what model RS4 do i have, so i can do my own searching next time?

You look lik you have an OLD RS4 2. It is belt driven. The 3 is shaft driven.

+1

it's definitely a Nitro2 (w/ some of the Racer2 parts on it). There's ALOT of things you can do to that car if you have the time/resources and if your into modifications.

as for RS4 2, I'm not sure, i was looking at them and it does not have the carbon fiber top peice. but thats the only difference i see. as for modification, its got a TG (or something of that sort) chassis and a bunch of other aluminum parts on it. i bought it so long ago its hard to remember, but i BELEIVE it has the OS 12 motor in it (was told it was an amazing motor and then also have a 15CV or soemthing of that sort. I was also told it came with a DRIFT kit on it, but i don't really know about that.

also, i can do mods since i am very good at working on real cars so it shouldn't be to hard. I also have time, cuz I'm a lazy college student, resources are alittle scarce but i could save and get parts.

Ok, the RACER2 is the one with the CF top deck. the RS4 2 or (AKA RTR2) came with a plastic upper deck. So as stated in my earlier post, it is indeed a RS4 2.
Secondly, to the best of my knowledge, the only RS4 with a special "drift kit" is the Nitro3 (rs4 3, whatever the current name may be). But with some worn out tires and right suspension setup, you can make this car slide. In any case, good luck with the ride. :green-grin:

well, the previous owner of the car told me about a drift kit that he put on, and for what i can tell it has a BUNCH of other aftermarket stuff too compared to even the RACER2.
