Old battery conditioner

I've had this thing for 8-10 years, but forgot exactly how it works. It's a little round, neon green jobby with a red light on it. I think your supposed to just plug your battery into it and leave it alone until the light goes off. I believe the purpose is to just bring the cells down slowly until they all match. Pretty sure it cuts the voltage off at 5.4 volts. Anybody know or remember what I'm talking about?

I used to have something similar put out by Venom that sounds like what you are talking about.

I can't find a pic of one on-line.

It was green and the of a deck of cards and about 3/4" thick.

I don't have it anymore since I mine caught on fire. LOL
