Ok screw everything this is my next RC. I will save and I will buy this 1:6 bad dog. Read this:

BX-1 Off Road

The BX-1 is a complete new construction for competition in 1:6 scale off-road and was developed by means of long experience with model cars 1:8 and 1:5 scale on-road. The goal was to build a demanding off-road car that offers easy maintenance and fun off-road also to hobby drivers. Due to the experience in the on-road area it was possible to build such a car on the base of the successful H.A.R.M. - chassis concept.

Dimensions and weight
Wheel base: 510 mm
Length: 770 mm
Width: 430 mm
Weight: 9,5 - 10,5 kg
The narrow and resistant double-chassis construction is the base for a precisely working chassis. The model car is equipped with alloy a-arms front and rear lower which also stand extraordinary load and high temperatures. The a-arms rear lower are mounted at two bulkheads by means of pins, therefore the value of the toe-in is fixed. The car comes stock with 2° toe-in. The advantage in comparison to other fastening methods as for example by means of ball ends is the easy maintenance with regard to repair or adjustment of the car. As an option there are also available bulkheads (picture 5) with 4° toe-in. The car is also equipped with the twin-disk brake which works on both differential output shafts. It is also possible to mount the front disk brake no. 1511200 or the hydraulic brake no. 1511172 later on.

The caster at the front axle can be adjusted between 0° and 25° thus the appropriate set-up on any track and for any driving style is possible. Due to the mounting position of the torque strong Zenoah G23RC engine most of the weight is concentrated onto the rear axle which leads to further traction.

The relatively long wheel base of 510 mm ensures stable driving behaviour of the car. The lateral dirt and stroke protection reduces dirt on the chassis and the radio parts to a minimum.

As picture 6 shows, the BX-1 is also equipped with the small chassis as the touring cars. The lateral protection prevents much dirt on the chassis and the radio parts.
As an option the adjustable front axle no. 1511149 can be mounted in order to facilitate further adjustments.

Equipment of the BX-1 chassis
• 6 mm chassis plate made of high-quality alloy
• double a-arms at front and rear axle, lower ones made of alloy
• Alloy axle shafts at front and rear axle
• alloy radio plate
• engine support self-centering made in alloy
• main shaft with screw connection for the gear
• toe-in, caster and camber can be modified
• Oil shocks with outer thread in order to adjust the springs
• stabilizer at front and rear axle
• alloy differential with linchpins
• All turning parts equipped with ball bearings.
• Delivered with the powerful 23 ccm Zenoah G23RC
• 3-chamber pipe
• Body made of transparent polycarbonate (Lexan), cut and body holes drilled
• Rear wing made of resistant black plastic (adjustable)

I,m in love

ooh and theres hop ups. Thats just stock geew I need a towel pass it over.

and exactly how empty will my wallet be after buying such a beast???

Oh, and just to give you crap......its "ILL Na-Na" not Naw Naw...:stick:

The on road stuff that large runs like $1300 - $2000. I am guessing the off road stuff might be even more. You better start saving. :)

Have you seen 1/5 scales run? They're sweet. There are 3 guys at a track I go to have the on roads. When they start the engine and rev it sounds like a dirtbike. Before they start doing some serious runs, they do burnouts and literally smoke the tires.

Also, from talking to them the most expensive part is the initial cost. From there durability holds up well.
