This .26 seems way to slow on the get go. I don't know if I'm not getting enough compression or what, my Tmaxx 2.5 gets off the line faster and is also faster on the high end. any thoughts? By the way all you guys are great this site rocks for a new Rc freak like me.

I know the Mach .26 pretty good, but know nothing about the T-Maxx. The Mach is a really torquey engine, it does not rev real high but it is fast tuned/geared properly.
Give us some more info like pipe, gearing, how much fuel is thru the engine...

Are you sure it's not skipping first gear and going straight to second?

Is your slipper slipping too much? That's a common problem with BB maxx's and stock slippers.

I don't think my slipper is catching the engine is screaming and its only doing about 15 or 20mph. I wasn't able to do any tweaking on it yesterday, but after I get off work I am going to get busy on it. My friends found a great new spot for bashing called Devils slide and I need to have it working before we roll. If I can't I still have my Tmaxx 2.5 to play with, but I want more power. ha ha

Sounds like your slipper isn't set. It is allowing the tranny to slip and not engage till a certain rpm.
