OK, lets talk about theTraxxas forum

Well the Traxxas mods are posting here again big whoop. If you know the history of this site then you know the Traxxas mods read this site almost as much as they read there own site. This site was started because of there mods being over bearing to the site members, and running good people off because they didnt like people talking about anything that was not made or sold by Traxxas.

One of the big things that turned me off to the Traxxas site was when I was told a home made set of swaybars would not be good for a T-Maxx, and would do nothing but hurt the way it handles weather bashing or on a track. Many of my home made mods were looked down at things like doweling the stock axels to stop twisting.

Sure you can say my ideas are a cheap way of making something work or that there jury rigging, but they worked well for there time. Today you can buy everything I use to make at home from someone on the web thats better then what I made but my stuff is still working and at a fraction of the price.


I've been reading RCNT just about from day one, I use to post alot here but I dont post much anymore because my cars/trucks/bosts/planes are out of date. But I still read the stuff being said here about all the cool new cars//// thats out there.


I've found RCNT to be a great site because its members can post just about whatever is on there minds, this is not limited to just RC's as you can see from this post.

I only hope this site is around for a long long LONG time so we all have something good to keep reading.

Hunter, just so you know, the fellas at the LHS I frequent that race Revos told me about this mod, use it themselves and turned me onto it! They went this route AFTER snapping high dollar CVD's from MIP! I've never broken a stock axle since!

I guess it's their forum, they can run it like they want to.

Pretty much,i think comparing other brands to traxxas are also against the rules,and you can't use the word crap,even though it's "G" rated I've seen disney movies use worse language that were "G" rated

I was banned from there years ago..I was hopping up my maxx..With all brands not traxxas.
Oval dike banned me for saying the traxxas bulk heads were junk.And I was going with GA's 7075 bulks.And rock hounds chassie braces.
Then I named off what was stock on my maxx.
I said the only stock thing was the raido box...They did not like it one bit.
I was told I could no longer post about my truck.And why it was better then a stock Maxx..

That was 3 or 4 years ago.
At that time I do belive it was NCNITRO pmed me the nite I got banned and told me about RCNT.
I have been here since then..

I had never been on it before. Checked it out because of the recent threads to see what the deal was. Amazed me to see how tight their asses were.

I've never gone to the Traxxas board, other than a brief look, and am kind of biased when it comes to this board. All of you need to be aware of something -

This is exactly what Traxxas wants, "give them enough rope to hang themselves." By counter-bashing you only sink to their level.
