i got the slash for christmas i saw it 3 days before so i was mad excited i got a duratrax dnyx210 charger and a venom 3600 pack and i must saw it has alot of freakin punch but i was holding it today and noticed a part of the bumper was brocken, but it was not the main part and it wasn't to bad and i did a few other 4 foot jumps and landed on it and its still compleatly functional and u can't tell but i was wondering dose any body know any links for a aluminum bumper(front)?and is there some sort of soullution to the body rub?

Honestly, with the abuse mine has taken with the plastic bumper, I wouldn't go aluminum just for that reason. Plastic has a bit more tolerance on flexibility than aluminum. But remember, this is only my opinion. ;)

cut the body to stop it from rubbing and i say go back stock the slash is strong stock

I added pre-load spacers to the front and moved the lower shock mount holes all the way out-board on all four corners. Did the trick for the body rubbing. Also helped the handling big time...

definately stay stock or RPM. If a stock part on mine breaks from the abuse then generally I will try to get an RPM part(heavier composite than stock) or just go stock and try not to drop it from 10 feet onto its bumper:D the only aluminum I have put on are These Hot Racing braces.

i have only broke parts when its below freezing,i did the same abuse today and couldnt break anything 60degrees out.whatever aluminum parts you get will likeky break the plastic they are attatched to....

I don't know if you need to got that far. I took the body washers that came with the kit and put them underneath the shell where the pins secure the shell onto the chasi. It has kept the wheels from rubbing since.

I cut the front of mine because if you look closely when its sitting on the ground then turn the wheels left and right it does touch the body interupting the turning...but as far as rubbing on the rear I just let it go or jack the suspension up a bit

well thank you for the responces but now i got a bigger problem the car will NOT let me drive it more than 10 feet away without it losing signal and the light on the radio is solid red wtf? I'm getting aggraveted at the slash by the minute

Make sure there is nothing around you that could be letting out radio frequencies in the AM channel ban. Also, is your antenna wire going all the way through the tube and out the other end? Did you trim the antenna? (wouldn't be a good idea if you did) And most of all make sure the transmitter batteries are good.

Check the antenna over for any breakage, usually caused by a harsh roll over. Like the others said, check all the batteries too.
