okay engine wouldnt start but i know all the starter equipnent was good so i took the engine off savage and took coolin header off, there were pits in the piston and top of header where glowplug goes in..... what does this mean?

what truck is it is it the 25 or the 21 and how long have you had it

Pits in the piston are usually a sign of a lean condition. No matter what engine as I just learned check your backplate. Mine was loose and I just thought the engine was fried and the one way bearing was bad again.
