Ofna World II or Hot Bodies Lightning

If you had choice would you choose a Ofna World II, Hot Bodies Lightning, or a Powerracing Swift....? Please let me know becuz this is what my budget is for cuz I have a Revo....

The worlds II is an old ofna buggy, that is discontitnued.. so HB lightning would be my choice..

also.. there is talk about a new ofna buggy.. called the W04, new hyper buggy

O, my bad, I thought you meant the new ofna WO4, since the ofna kit you are reffering to is a old kit, I'd say get the hotbodies.

I like my Lightning, but parts are sometimes a royal pain to find. Mine is a Pro 2, and I can find most parts in the RR version, so if it is the RR you are after, then you should be alright on most parts. Should you need them. I have really only broken mine trying to go for the top speed 40'+ jumps. The swift looks OK, but I don't have a clue about parts availability, and I haven't checked out the new Ofna, nor do I know anything about the worlds II. I do have a friend with a Hyper 7, and it is a nice durable buggy. My vote goes to the Lightning out of the three you listed, with the swift a close second if you can get parts for it.

I would say the XTM its in the same price range as the rest of them, and they are well built! Horizon Hobbies is the place to get XTM parts.

The W04 is the new hyper that has not yet been released... I'm guessing cvec7 is a guy from the ofna forum sugsting a car out of no where that hasnt even ben released or just got confused with the question... the old hyper TQ'ed the worlds but was dqed for the illegal ammount of cc's but its still a tq in my book but rules are rules he was dqed... it say a lightning... its a knock off of the kyosho kanai #2 good luck man





by the way the new hyper is a long way away... talking to some of the people that work there i was told feb. but hey maybe early i dunno id spend the extra money and get a kyosho or a mugen... mugen is the winner of the worlds... get a kit and put the good stuff on it and put in a decent engine cause u dont wanna have a lot of power right away or u will not be able to drive it... dont ever think u can handle the speed of these things...I'm goin to stadium trucks so i can learn how to drive smoothly then ill head back to buggies and carry that skill with me...

oh and by the way ofna treated me like poop.... OBVIOUSLY they dont want my service...I've had many of my buddies treated the same way... :shrug:
