I've been searching around looking at different buggys for a new rig, and this seems like a very built car. The price is appealing, but is it a durable rig? I like the fact that it comes with a picco vs the force motor that they are putting in the hyper 7(is that what comes in them?) What pipe comes on it?

Also, what are somethings that I need to watch out for with it?

-Thanks

as with anything, you need to be aware as to spares availability. No good buying a rig only to have to lay a "special order" with your LHS for the parts.

Have you run nitro before ?

It's a great buggy for bashing and entry level racing.
The buggy comes with a 2053 style exhaust, it does not suit the engine. The engine is a beast, it's stronger than most .28's.
The 086 pipe brings it to life bigtime.
You'll need a starter box, that engine is a bastard to start for the first 3/4's a gallon.
I broke it in for the first 5 tanks in my backyard with a hair dryer and used the pullstart. Everything went smooth.
I took it to the track the next day, the pullstart was only good for throwing the buggy across the track. Even with the glow plug loose! It took a good starter box to get her to bust off the next couple of days.
After 3/4's a gallon, she was one of the most reliable best running engines I have owned. I'd like to buy another one of those mills. Loads of torque.
The servos and radio suck, but I'm spoiled with good radio gear.....

Well asked because it had a more than fair price tag. Is there any other buggies or truggies that are worth buying with a price like it aswell?

Any RTR buggy in that price is not going to have good radio gear. You can't beat the rest of the buggy for that price though. The shocks are awesome and damn near bulletproof, good plastic, solid drivetrain, excellent engine. I'd buy the Picco buggy and put better servos on it plus a failsafe, and a 5 cell hump pack. Forget using AA alkaline batts in any 1/8th car!
