This may be off topic, but I dare anyone to top these instructions: please note that this is a direct quote fum the book that was included with the Trinity Sirio Kanai#1 Edition engine.
Caution!
Read carefully instructions before use
Safety Regulations
Product is a race engine and not a toy.
A wrong use not according to the instructions can be dangerous.
Proper for player not younger than 14.
Engine must be used assembled on his own model only
Not modify or manipulate the engine
Using of original spare parts (joint and exhaust system) is suggested.
ok, I kind of got the drift of that part. Basicly, it's not a toy, young-uns aint to mess with it, you have to have it assembled and installed on your own model only to have it run, don't go dickin around with a dremel on it, and it's a real good idea to use OEM parts to fix it.
Instructions
Running in
- For a correct setting of the sliding parts is required 15 minutes about of running in.
- In course of execution keep a low rpm zone by avoiding sudden acceleration.
- Mixture with nitromethane not higher of 15% is suggested.
- A previous carburettor check let obtain the optimum carburation by a minimum rotating of base and speed needles.
So, about 15 minutes of putt-putting at a low temp is needed for break in. Don't burn fuel over 15% nitro. And that last part is where I start to go numb in the noodle. I think, and I stress "think", it means something to the extent of: be sure to check the LSN and HSN to make sure the carb is tuned before you kick it in the pants.
Joints
Any joint must be made before starting and according to the instruction given by the producer of the car model on which the engine are assembled:
- Connect the inlet manifold and exhaust system to the drainpipe.
- Connect the tank to the carburettor
- Connect Tank to the pressure intake of the exhaust system.
- Connect carburettor to the servo control throttle.
- Connect drive shaft to the suitable clutch of the engine
Now I'm completely freakin lost. Twist your doobies before you fire up the engine. Where the hell is that drainpipe on my buggy? engine? wtf? And I thought you would connect the flywheel and clutch to the driveshaft of the engine and not the otherway around. Uh, the drool is starting to flow like a thorozine OD.
Start
- Connect spark plug to the provided "plug heater"
- Rotate the flywheel anticlockwise (the suitable start box is suggested)
- Speed in moderation up by using the radio devise-control
Ok, does this thing burn nitro, or petro? Anticlockwise from which end? And I think the last part means something like "try not to nail it all of a sudden", but I'm kind of sketchy on that.
And lastly (for this post, and I'll skip the "periodical servicing" section because it's pretty much along the same lines as the above)
Switch off
Close fully the carburettor.
I guess brakes aren't in the grand scheme with this mill.
