I have the .25 motor and was wondering if it was beneficial to step up to a 2 speed trans. Both the motor and buggy have been ultra dependable, just looking for a suitable upgrade to breathe new life into a front yard brawler.

If you want more top end out of it then go for it. My OFNA 9.5 MBX is plenty fast without a 2 speed. I just dropped in a bigger motor and a bigger clutchbell. :)

It originally had a .21 in it but I bought it as a roller and the only Motor I had laying around was my old Mach 427 (.26) from my LST2. It still runs perfectly well after 9 gallons so I modded the chassis to hold the big block and put an 18T clutch bell on it since it had a bigger motor with more torque on it.

Heres a vid I just made yesterday of some bashing I did with my OFNA if you want to get an idea.
