What is a good brand of fuel to run tyhrew there engines if your a basher with a ofna engine.

Prolly most any brand that your lhs carries. I run Byrons but I only race. I found it to run cooler and have a more consistent tune. Switched from Trinity MHP.

I'm running a Heli fuel in mine. It's called Cool power and it runs very cool with lots of power.

I've run trinity MHP 20% for 6 years in all my engines. I've tried many others and always ended up back with trinity.

I've tried blue thunder, byrons, odonnells, top fuel, HPI fuel, wildcat fuel and trinity. All in their 20% nitro versions.

Just recently I bought an LRP28 and the manual recommends running at a miniumum 25% nitro. My LHS doesn't carry MHP at 25%, so I bought byrons. It has a little less oil than trinity MHP (11% vs 12%), but it seems to run well in this engine.

By the way, I'm strictly a basher. That's why I only run 20%. I don't have a need for more nitro.

how about sidewinder 20%? thats what i run and it seems to be ok, i see a bit of a temp jump every so often, but it could just be my tuning. any input? what about nitrotane? those are the 2 fuels my lhs carry.

btw sorry for the hijack

I think I ran the eliminator fuel. If I remember correctly, it was 20% nitro and 14% or 16% oil. Ran great in my small blocks, but my big blocks ran hot with a fat tune.
