Sorry, but I don't have any instructions. I just made a bracket for the buggy tank to sit in, moved my throttle servo to where the stock tank sits, put the reciever on top of the steering servo and mounted the new tank diaganlaly from where the stock receiver and throttle servo sits.
The best I can do is take some close up shots of what I did. It was basically a rainy day job. Took a couple hours to get everything right since I didn't have a whole lot to go off of.
I first did this on my 21 maxx. The throttle servo was already positioned back by the engine so I didn't have to worry about that.
On my 2.5 maxx, I had to move things around a bit to make it look relatively clean and still make it easy to work on when needed.
First I took off the receiver, stock tank, and throttle servo. My main goal was to find somewhere that the tank would fit. Once I did that, I took a hint from bomber to mount the receiver with stand offs over the steering servo. I then drilled a couple holes in the chassis back by the engine to mount my throttle servo. I've run about a gallon or so through it since.
The tank is the OFNA 125cc buggy tank (30280) TANK
Here's a few pics of both trucks. Like I said, if you want, I can take some more tactfull shots tonight after work and post them so you can see what's going on easier.
