my friend has one and when the glow plug is out you can pull the pull start and it will sound great but when the glow plug is in it jams and sounds groggy. what is wrong????

What's the problem? Can you get the buggy running at all? If it does start, how does the engine respond when you give it full throttle from a dead stop?

Check to see if your plug is still any good. Put it in your glow starter and make sure it glows BRIGHT red. If it's bad, replace it. If it even glows slightly red replace it. If you've finished engine break-in replace it.
If it's good, make sure your engine isn't flooded with fuel. Take out your plug and turn the buggy upsided down and yank the pullstart cord a few times. Then try to restart. If that doesn't work return your carb settings back to factory and go from there.
You'll get it started eventually, have faith my brother!

With the plug out the piston can go up and down easily because there is no compression. This is why it is easy to turn over. With the plug in, as the piston nears the top of its stroke, compression is created so it becomes harder to turn over.

I'm guessing you are trying to break-in the engine.

When I broke-in my Force 25 in my MBX 9.5, it was a bitch to get started the first time. I yanked on that thing untill I got blisters on my hand. It tried to break me in which it did. You should have gotten 2 plug washers with the car. Use them both and it will be easier to turn over. That is why they gave you 2. After a few tanks, you can drop down to just 1 washer.

Do as GilBeQuick says, and you should eventually get it started. It does get a lot easier once you get it broken-in.

Same goes here, my force .25 is still a bitch to start. My starter box will not turn it over! once the engine gets gas it is a bitch to turn over. You can do one of two things; One, pull the pull start until it gets very difficult to pull and then very quick short pulls should start it. Second, You can losten the glow plug slightly to allow a little of the compression to leek out and then tighten it back after the engine is running.

Mine was missing the glow plug and it had the .25 - I loosened the glow plug until I got it started and then started it myself and then tight the glow plug back. Now I have an HPI roto start and it makes my life a lot easier.
