odonnell fuel

i have a gallon of odonnell racing fuel 20%. i'm just curious if anyone knows what the oil % is in it.

O'Donnell usually says on the label. Have you tried checking their website?

It only says 20% nitro and I can't find anything on their site. It's the only fuel that my lhs sells.

Not sure of the percentage, but I can guarantee you that it's more than 11%. I've recently burned through a couple gallons, it's jacked up my internal OWB's and caused a lot of residue to come out of the pipe in comparison to byrons 25% nitro/11% oil.

I'll never run the stuff again.

What's the minimum %of oil for the average picco or trx engine?

It can't be any worse than wildcat 14% I ran 2 tanks and my a-arms were covered in oil.

Byron's 25% sport fuel is 16% oil, the racing 25% is 11% oil.

I liked Wildcat fuel. I ran a 16/14 blend that was great. From what I've found from Googling is O'Donnell race is 14% also.

Didn't realize that. My LHS only caries the race blend then. Never noticed anything else there.

Anybody ever find out what %oil the Odonnell 20% has? I thought I was gettin some good stuff to replace the Traxxas "Top Fuel" I had.. Looks like it's just more of the oily stuff?? :\

I still like o'donnell fuel, it is oily, but it's all I can find around here. It made a big difference in how my engines ran and lasted.....vs top fuel.
