Just a quick question. As alot of ya know I have a Savage 25 that I've had for a couple months. Well I bought it and I also picked up a dozen Odonell Glow plus. I really like them and are very happy with them, but do they need a certain igntor or something? I'm not able to "Lock" it on. So I have to hold it on which makes it very hard to choke the exhaust and also give it gas if needed. So today I fould one out and put in a OS in it, and I had to retune it (Which I hate doing..lol) but I still like the odonnel better. Anyone?

I'm gonna guess you use a twist on ignitor. because my dynamite clip on grabs odonnels just fine. btw, an OS plug isnt made to fit your combustion chamber.

I have both twist lock clip and the spring lock clip and I have the same problem with the twist lock on OS plugs and hate the thing. If you have spring lock clip and still have problems, you may want to take a pair of pliers and straighten out the tip a little where it rolls over Also compress the lock tube all the way and flare the lock tube end a little more so it opens up more. Sometimes they get bent or formed wrong at the factory when they bevel the ends.
