O.s. ???

My LHS has an O.S. 21 RG, i want to put it in my T_maxx BUT, it has been at my LHS for some time and the Piston is at TDC, is that a problem. THey want $100 for it, Do you think i would be better off just putting a Traxxas 3.3 in it? WHats you opinion?

I know the OS 21tm is a drop in dont know about the OS 21rg...I love the Os 21tm in my T-maxx

The RG is not a drop in. It requires a conversion kit which typically cost more than $100. And on a t-maxx, isn't worth the effort.

Personally, if the piston has been at TDC for the majority of it's life, I"m not sure it's worth $100 anymore. They were only $130 when new. A new piston/sleeve (if that one ends up dieing early) still runs around $50. I take that back... Tower has the piston/sleeve now listed at $76...

I'd just get the 3.3, then get a savage, MGT or LST down the line if you still want a BB truck.
