It is a great looking machine, ill be looking at getting a big block and chassis for it soon, my rig is still very stock, how does that slipper work for you? if thats the one i think it is I'm thinking about getting one!

yeah i hear you there i can see it haha i like how you repositioned the throttle system i have seen that before and have plans on doing it soon i think it is a way better angle for the carb, but it is nice and soon my maxx will look something like that, only i would have more a jeep body than chevy :) like you said, more like a 2-year project give or take...:)

The engine itself is one of OS's biggest failures. Yes it runs ok and tunes nice and makes ok torque but that's it. It's main downfall is the nickle plated sleeve, I don't know why OS cheaped out on this as a chrome liner is far superior to nickle. Engines like the Picco .28 and LRP .28 will outlast and outrun the OS .30 any day.

so what picco .28 would work best with the tmaxx 3.3 cause i was looking on ebay and there are quite a few different models like the NEW! Ofna .28 Picco JL Team Turbo. OFNA 51233 PICCO EVO2 .28T FT .28-T TURBO PLUG ENGINE. and there is a 8 port and 9 port engine.

Pretty much any of the Picco would be great as long as it is a pull start or roto start. If it has the bump start back plate like on a truggy or buggy it will not work. The bump start have a plain plate on the back that is normally the same color as the engine case with an indentation going in to the engine. If you are not looking to go as crazy as I did with mine you can go with a Picco .26Max or a Picco .26 JL Red dot. Both are really easy to put in. Other than the new engine mouth they are a drop in.

X2 The picco's are great engines, Much better quality then most in the same price range.
