O.S. 18 TM Temp?

does anybody know the safe max temp for my engine?

O.S. does not give any numbers.

my engine runs great lean but gits hot.

I live in fl and it is cool now I'am worried how rich i'll have to run it in the summer to keep it cool.

any good cooling heads or fans you all could suggest?? I have to cool it so I can get the performance out of my engine.

I runs great with the body off but that is not a option. I've got lots of vent holes and such on the body but I need something more.

Might want to check for an air leak. Take a little dab of RTV, the orange stuff, and seal the back plate and the base of the carb. If that doesn't work, Nova makes a cooling head for that engine. I believe it is like $40 or so.

I e-mailed Nova RC about a month ago and they are not sure which cooling head will fit the .18 TM. You might need to e-mail them again to make sure.


By the way, their product is great. Quality!
