Is this engine to weak for my T-Maxx???
It runs a little warm and i can't get my wheelies to come up unless i lean put the Low Speed Needle and then it comes up pretty good but then runs too hot.
Are there any other motor's that i could use on my T-Maxx Original that i dont need any modifications.
Also a good price.

A TRX 3.3 will make a origonal t-maxx wheelie all day. The os 18 cvr wasent really made for monster trucks in my oppion, better suited in a stadium truck. Id give the 3.3 a chance if you looking for power. And if you want mad power you could always go with a Pico .26 Maxx.

I'm not a big fan of traxxas motor's.
and since its the original T-Maxx I'm gonna have to convert the throttle setup and i dont wanna do that. would the .21 TM from O.S. be any good?

I have the OS.21tm in my T-max and it runs real good not any tuning issue either...but there is that price tag to contend with....the OS.18 tm would be a good choice if you can find one (look on ebay). the .18 was replace by the .21....I just pick up the .18 for my nirto rustler, that thing is BRUTAL in the rustler

The 21TM would be total overkill in a non-extended maxx/revo. Also, that engine uses a rear exhaust/slide carb setup like the 3.3, except it costs twice as much.

What pipe are you running with the OS18CV-R?
