NTC3 stock and threaded shocks differences

RC Driving Style
They only differ by aluminum threaded shock body and shock collar.
Am I right?
This is the only difference I can see from drawings.
So it is possible to buy only these parts and reassemble the shocks.
Right?
 
Yes, the threaded body is the only difference. It allows you to accurately adjust ride height and balance suspension tweak via teak station or lifting chassis with a blade (old school and less accurate).

I ahve upgraded my cousins shock bodies to the threaded version with no problem.
 
Yeah, but i think it'll cost more...or close to what it'd cost if you bought the set of shocks
